UConn Mail Room Hours and Services Overview

The UConn Mail Room is a convenient resource for students, faculty, and staff to manage their mail and packages. It's located in the Student Union Building.

The mail room is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. You can expect a shorter wait time during off-peak hours.

One of the most popular services offered by the mail room is package delivery and pickup. The mail room receives and sends out packages for students, faculty, and staff.

If you're expecting a package, you can track it online or check the mail room's website for updates.

Mailroom Locations

The mailroom locations on campus are a bit scattered, but I've got the lowdown for you. There are several mailrooms to choose from, depending on where you live.

The Buckley Mailroom is located in Buckley Hall, Lower Level Elevator Lobby, and is open from 2pm to 6pm, Mondays through Fridays, and Saturdays from 11am to 2pm.

Connecticut Hall Mailroom, on the other hand, is only open for package pickup, and letter mail boxes are located at the South mailroom for floors 1-5. Floors 6 & 7 will receive package notices for letter mail.

The Northwest Mailroom is located in Russell Hall, Rear of Building, and serves the Hilltop (Hale & Ellsworth Halls), Garrigus Suites, Werth Hall, and the letter mail for Hilltop Apartments. It's open from 10am to 6pm, Mondays through Fridays.

The South Mailroom is located in Rome Commons, Ground Level, and is open on Thursdays from 10am to 1pm and 2pm to 6pm.

If you're expecting a package, be sure to check your email for pickup instructions, as some packages may need to be picked up at University Mail Services (UMS) at 3 Discovery Drive.
