The VT Mail Room offers a convenient and efficient way to send and receive mail. Mail can be picked up at the VT Mail Room during business hours.

You can submit mail to the VT Mail Room for processing and shipping. The VT Mail Room is open Monday through Friday, 9am to 4pm.

There are several mail pickup and submission options available. You can choose to pick up mail at the VT Mail Room or have it submitted for you.

Mail Pickup Locations are conveniently located across campus to make it easy to grab your mail. The Pearson West location is one of the main spots, but there's also a Pearson East location.

You can find the Mail & Package PickUPP Locker Locations in the following buildings: Pearson West, Pearson East, Upper Quad Hall North, Donaldson Brown/GLC, Vawter, Creativity and Innovation District (CID), Newman Hall, Whitehurst Hall, Miles Hall, Eggleston Hall West, Eggleston Hall Main, Eggleston Hall East, Johnson Hall, O'Shaughnessy Hall, Hoge Hall, New Residence Hall, Payne Hall, Peddrew-Yates Hall.

The VT Mail Room offers various forms for students and faculty to use.

The most common form is the mail stop request form, which can be submitted online or in person.

To request a mail stop, you'll need to provide your name, department, and a brief description of the mail you'll be receiving.

To submit a High Priority Package Form, simply link your packages to you before they arrive. This reduces manual entry upon arrival and speeds up the processing time.

Please note that misuse of the high-priority form can result in a student conduct referral. It's a good idea to be mindful of this when submitting your form.

If you submit a High Priority Package Form, do not also submit a Standard Package Form. This will help prevent any confusion or delays in processing your packages.

If you need to have someone pick up a package for you, you can use the Alternate Recipient Form to make arrangements.

The form allows you to designate someone to collect your packages on your behalf, but they can only do so at the time you specify.

You can choose any person you trust to pick up your packages, and you'll need to provide their name and contact information on the form.

The alternate recipient will only be able to pick up your packages at the time you've specified, so make sure to plan ahead and give them enough notice.
