Baltimore Peninsula is a rapidly growing development at Port Covington.

It's home to the ROOST Baltimore hotel and apartment building, where you'll find the new bar and lounge Vessel.

The area is also where you'll find the Baltimore Yacht Basin, which has been sold to BYB Prop Real Estate Partners and is undergoing a major transformation.

This transformation will include a fleet of rental houseboats from Flohom, a company manufacturing floating homes at a facility right at Baltimore Peninsula.

You can expect a "best in class" resort-like marina experience at the Baltimore Yacht Basin.

Local and national boating clubs will be partnering with the marina to offer boat rentals and other services.

Developers aim to make the waterfront experience more accessible to non-boat owners, with a waterfront event space and potential for on-water businesses.

The Baltimore Yacht Basin is located next to the popular crab deck Nick's Fish House.

The marina will have about 150 slips and will house a number of Flohom vessels for short- or long-term residential and commercial use.

The Flohom vessels are modern floating suites with a clean, modern aesthetic and 360-degree water views.

You can currently book a handful of Flohoms at the Baltimore Harbor, National Harbor in Washington, D.C., and at Ferry Point Marina on the Magothy River.

Baltimore Peninsula is also home to a growing list of restaurants, including Rye Street Tavern, Ben & Jerry's, and Jersey Mike's Subs.

The area is expected to become a vibrant destination for residents, ROOST guests, and locals alike.
