About Volo Baltimore
Volo Sports is an adult social sporting league that started in Baltimore 13 years ago with just 16 players playing a game of bocce.
Today, Volo Sports has grown to over 500,000 participants nationwide, offering a variety of sports including kickball, field hockey, baseball, corn hole, bowling, and more.
The league's first Baltimore multi-purpose sports entertainment venue, Volo Beach, is opening this fall on the waterfront community at Baltimore Peninsula.
The venue will feature a beach sand area for volleyball, a concrete area for pickleball courts, and grassy fields for kickball, soccer, and flag football.
You can enjoy the spacious picnic areas and cornhole boards while you play and socialize, and live music will be featured on special occasions.
Club Volo Baltimore Peninsula specifically features 4 beach volleyball courts, 11 pickleball courts, and multiple fields for kickball, soccer, and flag football.
Baltimore Location
Volo Beach is located just north of E. Cromwell St. and just west of the former The Baltimore Sun building, which is about to be demolished.
The facility is situated at the Baltimore Peninsula development, a multi-billion dollar mixed-used development with buildings in the master plan.
Volo Beach is a part of the larger Baltimore Peninsula development, where the company plans to be for a while and could potentially move things around if needed.
The facility will have more than seven pickle ball courts, which will be used for Volo leagues, drop-in play, tournaments, and private rentals.

Volo Facility with Sports Courts Coming to Baltimore
Volo Beach is a new sports facility coming to the Baltimore Peninsula development.
The facility will feature 4 beach volleyball courts, 11 pickleball courts, and multiple fields for kickball, soccer, and flag football.
Volo Beach is located just north of E. Cromwell St. and just west of the former The Baltimore Sun building.
The volleyball courts were built in part of The Baltimore Sun’s former parking lot, while the pickleball courts will go in additional existing concrete spaces.
Kickball, soccer, and flag football will be played in existing green spaces that will undergo improvements.
Food and beverage options will likely come from food trucks and a shipping container bar.
The facility will be used for Volo leagues, drop-in play, tournaments, and private rentals.
More than seven pickleball courts will be available, catering to the growing demand for pickleball in Baltimore.
Pickleball appeals to a wide range of people, from kids to seniors, and will be offered as part of Volo Kids, where kids play for free.
Bocce ball, a nod to Volo's founder's Italian heritage, will also be available at the facility.
Volo Beach is part of the multi-billion dollar Baltimore Peninsula mixed-use development.
Volo is also building out its own facility called The Park in Canton/Brewers Hill, where operations are easier when the company runs the venue.
