Exciting news for cruise enthusiasts! Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) has recently announced plans to offer a new cruise itinerary from Philadelphia, starting in 2024.

This new route will feature a 7-night cruise to the Bahamas, with stops in Nassau and Princess Cays.

NCL has been working closely with the Port of Philadelphia to ensure a smooth and efficient embarkation process for passengers.

Philadelphia Terminal Updates

The Port of Philadelphia is gearing up for the arrival of an NCL cruise line, which is expected to bring a significant economic boom to the city.

Over the next 18 months, PhilaPort will be making capital improvements to prepare for the cruise line, including work at the Philadelphia Cruise Terminal.

Cruise passengers will no longer need to travel to New Jersey, New York, or Baltimore to sail, as ships will now be departing from Philadelphia.

The Port of Philadelphia is known for being the fastest growing cargo port in North America, and now it's adding tourism and cruises to its portfolio.

This development could generate over 2,000 direct, indirect, and induced jobs, and over $40 million in annual county and state tax revenue.
