If you prefer not to drive, there are taxis available at the terminal, as well as offices of car rental agencies like Hertz, Avis, and Nation.
Montreal is a very walkable city, and all major downtown attractions are close to the cruise port, making it easy to explore on foot.
For those who prefer public transportation, there's a great bus service and metro system in place.
If you're feeling adventurous, you can even rent a bike and explore the city on two wheels – there's a Montreal on Wheels office just a five-minute walk from the cruise ship terminal.
