Getting Onboard

MSC offers a unique rolling embarkation process, where guests can get on at one port and disembark at the same port seven days later to board another ship.

This process is available on a prior reservation basis, making it a quick and efficient experience for guests.

We were greeted by a butler and whisked away to the Concierge level for a quick embarkation process and in our suite within an hour.

To identify guests and activate their cabin door, the cruise card or MSC for Me wristband (optional) is used, which also identifies us as MSC Yacht Club guests.

Our embarkation process was seamless, allowing us to settle into our suite and watch the safety video from the comfort of our own space.

As MSC Yacht Club guests, we were treated to a private club experience with a butler to greet us, making our embarkation process even more special.

MSC Yacht Club is available on 23 of the fleet's ships, catering to a maximum of 302 guests per ship, creating an intimate and exclusive experience.

We're in a two-storey MSC Duplex Suite loft, which was a booking upgrade from a standard veranda, thanks to MSC Cruises' Voyages Club free status match with any cruise line, hotel or tour operator.

Life Onboard is where the magic happens on the MSC World Europa Yacht Club. Everything on this ship is top-notch, spotlessly clean, and well-managed.

Launched in December 2022, you'll find that the Starlink Wi-Fi is fast and efficient, allowing two devices per person. This means you can stay connected with loved ones back home or stream your favorite shows while on the veranda or by the pool.

The Daily Programs are a great way to plan your day, available in print or via the MSC for ME app. This app uses the ship's Wi-Fi and is easy to navigate, allowing you to see what you've booked and book new activities yourself.

MSC has thought of everything, including a hands-free elevator on deck 16 that takes you straight to deck 4 and your private MSC Yacht Club gangway. This means no crowds or queuing when you're getting off the ship.

Excursions are well-organized and priced reasonably, ranging from €121 per adult for a full-day 'Best of Iconic Rome' excursion to €63 per adult for a 4.5-hour excursion.
