A portion of the mail processing operations from the Kilmer Processing & Distribution Center in Edison will also be moved to the Dominick V. Daniels Processing & Distribution Center in Kearny. There will be no change to the retail operations or business mail entry unit at the Kilmer Processing & Distribution Center location.

The Postal Service has experienced a 25 percent decline in First-Class Mail volume since 2006, and receives no tax dollars for its operations.
