If you need to schedule services outside of your regular collection days, you can contact Republic Services. They're the ones to call for large or bulk item pickups, yard waste services, or any concerns about missed pickups or holiday or weather questions.

Holiday Schedule

Most major holidays delay Republic Services collection by one day the rest of that week.

For example, if New Year's Day falls on a Sunday, collection would be delayed by one day for the rest of the week.

Collection returns to normal the week after a holiday.

Set your carts out by 5am on your adjusted pick-up day to ensure collection.

If unsure of your holiday schedule, check your address on the Zip Code Lookup Tool.

Here's an example of how collection would be delayed for the week after a holiday:

  • Monday –> Tuesday

Bulk Pickup

You can schedule one free bulk pickup per month with Republic Services, but be sure to call ahead to reserve the spot.

One business day after your regular waste collection day is when bulk pickup will occur, so mark your calendar accordingly.

All loose waste must be bagged, which is a good habit to get into anyway.

Wood and branches need to be bundled and tied, no larger than 3 feet by 4 feet and no heavier than 40 pounds per bundle.

Nails and screws should be pounded down or removed to ensure safe collection.

Bulk items must be placed at the curb in front of your home, not in the alley or on the side street.
